“Ever wondered where your guardian angel is? Try Eastthorpe Hall!”
In January 2008 I went to Easthorpe Hall on a corporate day. At the time I was suffering from severe postnatal depression and envisaged the usual spa day experience, everone in the same white robes, watching the clock so they didn't miss their treatments. Instead I stepped into a world where time literally stands still and the relaxing atmosphere is wrapped around you like the most luxurious cashmere blanket you can imagine. Call it the hand of fate or the luck of the draw but my first therapist of the day was Stephanie a wonderful lady with healing hands. She took one look at me and changed the treatment booked to a full body massaged during which she encouraged deep and cleansing breathing. That was the moment I saw a spec of light at the end of what had been a very dark tunnel and my feet were put tentatively on the road to recovery. The rest of the day turned the spec of light to a warm glow. For the first time in over a year I felt strong enough to climb out of the dark hole that is depression.
Two years later I wanted to give my mum something truly special for her 60th birthday. What better than a full day experience for both of us at Eastthorpe? It didn't disappoint, we went on 11th March 2010. Now fully recovered I went for the mud sweat and tears and again came away feeling truly indulged. The staff really are angels, the treatments heavenly and the food divine.
What are you waiting for. Perhaps your guardian angel is waiting there for you. Mine was!

"Eastthorpe Spa is amazing, nothing is too much trouble and no matter how stressed you feel on your way there, you certainly come out feelinG TOTALLY relaxed, healthy and refreshed! I took one of my best friends to experience this wonderful retreat in Mirfield, and she has text me over and over again since we left saying how she's looking forward to the next visit. It's so special and every time you go it just seems to get better! I've been about 5 or 6 times now for a 1/2 day detox package and it never fails. I was really impressed with the new pool and Jacuzzi area too, the temperature in the pool was just right! Any warmer and it would have been too stifling, temperatures. The owners of Eastthorpe Spa have clearly invested a huge amount of time and money on this venture in order to maintain regulars and encourage new people to try this award winning day spa in Mirfield, so I would like to say a BIG thank you for this added area of pure pleasure, it's wonderful! Our treatments were perfect, we had a full body exfoliation, full body massage, chocolate facial etc...it was that relaxing we both fell asleep. We had a fantastic time, the food as always was out of this world and the whole experience did exactly what we hoped for and lots lots more. Thanks!"
