I am just writing to thank you all for the most fabulous day yesterday. From the minute I arrived I was looked after as if I were an old friend. Everyone was friendly and helpful, the treatments divine, and the atmosphere calming. It was lovely not to have to think about the time, what I was supposed to be ‘doing next’ etc etc. I was able to completely switch off (literally, as I think I fell asleep in almost every room!). Granville’s food was fantastic. I had recently lost my appetite and found it difficult to eat, but he presented dishes that really got me tucking in! Hang on to that man! Please thank everyone again for the most perfect day."

This was my first spa experience and I absolutely loved it, it was truly amazing. I treated my mum for her birthday along with her friend. The experience was really enjoyable and relaxing, the staff were very helpful and lovely to be around. The chef even catered to our needs (the food by the way was scrumptious as was the afternoon tea). When I first booked I thought it was too expensive but after spending the whole day there with a number of treatments I can say it was well worth it. Now that I’ve been once I’m saving to book again! I would definitely recommend."

Being a spa ‘virgin’ so not sure what to expect I was delighted with my visit. From my initial enquiry with Gemma in reservations, who very patiently went through all options with me, to my visit yesterday I was really well looked after. Even though there was an itinerary I never felt rushed and had plenty of time to just sit and read in fabulous surroundings – including the gardens. Everybody was so friendly and caring and the girl that did my massage knew exactly which oils I needed for my wellbeing and after my facial I felt fabulous. Only booked a half day but now wish I had done a full day – just a shame that you can’t stay overnight as I was so relaxed at the end of the afternoon I just really wanted to stay – the whole place was calm and peaceful. I will definitely be going back again"

I had a truly amazing spa day. I felt pampered from the minute I walked through the door until I left. All the staff were really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I was suffering from a chesty cough and they changed the treatment oils so that they would help sort out my cough, which they did. The house and the gardens are fantastic, well looked after. The food was out of this world. There were a few clients who had dietary requirements and the chef happy prepared different food to fit their needs. I had a wonderful day thank you to all the wonderful staff."

Based in a former ancient and substantial family home the atmosphere is like entering another world. The treatments offered and the service which delivers them are superb and the food (provided by an outstanding chef) is exceptional. A truly uplifting and relaxing experience When I first booked I thought it was too expensive but after spending the whole day there with a number of treatments I can say it was well worth it.Now that I’ve been once I’m saving to book again! I would definitely recommend."

Yesterday my friend and I had a pamper package at Eastthorpe Hall. We usually go for a spa day 2 or 3 times a year, and have tried a number of different venues. I dont think we will be trying any other venues now, as I think we have found somewhere that no where else will live up to. From the friendly welcome when we arrived, to being guided through our day, without us feeling like we were working to a timetable, everything was designed to ensure we relaxed. The lack of clocks made us just stop worrying about what came next, and we handed over all the responsibility to your kind and friendly staff, who were never intrusive, but seemed genuinely keen to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. All the treatments were lovely. Starting with the body scrub which set us up for the day, then the massage was deep enough to get rid of all those knots I knew about, and plenty i wasnt aware of! The facial was luxurious, the idea of having a manicure whilst wearing a lavander eye mask was different – but worked really well! The paraffin was hand treatment was just astonishing and so good. Then there were all the different places to relax and chat – from the moroccan bed, to the pool, sauna, jacuzzi, relaxation room and living room. Each special in its own way. As for the food – absolutely delicious, we have never had that standard of food at a spa. We both love good food, and everything we ate was great – particularly that lovely glass of juice with the croissants. I think you can probably tell that we loved it! It was particularly nice to chat to you at the end, and see the joy you took in the way we were ‘floating’ out of Eastthorpe."

“Very relaxing” As a first time spa goer, I didn’t know what to expect but the staff were so lovely and they explained everything to me and that made me feel welcome, which for me was a big deal. The whole ambience made me feel like I was a million miles away and the whole day was totally relaxing. I would definitely recommend this place."

I am a regular customer at Eastthorpe and I am never disappointed, a day there is really the most amazing experience. My daughter and I recently enjoyed the special Pinks Boutique treatment day which proved to be one of the best ever. The range of treatments was particularly well designed and we had a lovely balance between treatments and chill out time. Breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea was, as ever, stunning. I can’t recommend this spa enough and it doesn’t win all its awards for nothing. Don’t forget to visit its little sister, the Potting Shed for individual treatments- they do the best deluxe manicure in the world."

If you want to escape to a countryside idyll and pass out blissfully happy then this is the place for you. I don’t think I’ve been anywhere that has looked after me better – in the warm, friendly, caring kind of way. My shoulders dropped two inches from the moment I arrived thanks to the picture-perfect setting, the scent of a roaring open fire and the warm staff. This is Yorkshire sophistication with a boutique, rustic edge."

My daughter in law and I spent a very relaxing few hours at Eastthorpe on Wednesday. The whole experience of the Health Spa is wonderful. A truly calming and relaxing experience. We were given time to enjoy the pool, jacuzzi and sauna before our breakfast treat. The young ladies make you feel really special and I enjoyed a wonderful massage and facial by a very thoughtful young lady. She talked to me about the oils, made sure I was comfortable and even lowered the lights further when I turned over for my facial so that they did not shine in my eyes. The interior of the house and garden are beautiful. As always we enjoyed a wonderful buffet lunch by the very experienced chef. I shall look forward to my next visit. Thank you to you all."

Went with a friend, we had the afternoon pamper package bought as a gift. Incredible experience. Very pleasant meet and greet and loved the hand wax ritual. The facial by Charlotte was superb and she was such a nice person. Also had a mini facial and mini pedicure both of which were really good. I very much enjoyed the time in the pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Superb lunch and the afternoon scones are definitely a reason to go back. Thank you to everyone concerned for a truly relaxing and memorable day.."

Arrival is at 8.45am and as soon as you ring the doorbell and are ushered in, the wonderful experience begins. My bags were taken away to the changing rooms by one of the lovely therapists and I was ushered in to one of the many beautiful rooms within this house. The emphasis is on comfort and luxury and from the minute you enter the house you are looked after unbelievably well."

This was my first visit and it certainly wasn’t a disappointment. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left I felt cared for and pampered. The staff were welcoming and friendly whilst remaining professional and it was made clear that the only thing I had to think about for the rest of the day was my enjoyment of the day. I was given a run through of the day and told that I would be taken to my treatments, refreshments etc by staff and therefore didn’t need to think about the time. The treatments were fantastic .. Top of the bill was my facial with Kimberley.. It was honestly the best facial I have ever had. The food was outstanding too. I think I would be happy to return for the food alone!!! No… It isn’t a cheap day.. But this is certainly one of those times where you definitely get what you pay for. It was worth every penny. In between treatments and refreshments there was plenty of time to just sit back and relax in the calming atmosphere of the building. I will definitely be returning and would recommend this spa for those wanting not just spa treatments but a day that cares for the whole package.. Your mind, body and soul.."

“Myself and 2 friends booked the all day Signature Treatment package. From start to finish it was a wonderful day. The massage and facial, both an hour each treatment, were the best I’ve ever had. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the therapists and we were made really welcome. The building is lovely with lots of different relaxation areas to chill out in, so we tried them all! The pool, jacuzzi and sauna area was a great way to start the day too. Last but not least, the food was also excellent, plenty of choice and all dietary requirements catered for. The day just flew by and it was as if we’d been transported off to a peaceful haven. We will definitely be back. Thankyou for a lovely day.”"
“Eastthorpe is just wonderful, by far the best spa and we have been to a few. My friends and I have visited every year for the past 12 years and always have wonderful experience.I just want to add that I had the BEST massage and facial I have ever had by Katie Webster, she was fantastic, a real credit to you.”"
“I booked the spa as I needed a relaxing retreat and Easthorpe provided that for me. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and it was a complete and utter calming, enjoyable, relaxing experience which continued into the rest of the evening for me. Thank you. I will hopefully be back again, sooner this time,”"

“My friend and I had a fantastic time, the setting was lovely, food delicious and treatments excellent. Staff were friendly, helpful and I felt they genuinely wanted to make sure we had a wonderful time.”"
“A little pampering…… We all need a little pampering now and again, so maybe once or twice a year we head to our favourite day spa for a little R & R.This year has been quite a tough one – particularly for Anne C following her accident earlier in the year in New York (still not allowed to talk about it yet…..) so a relaxing facial and a full body massage was just what the doctor ordered for both of us.Our favourite Spa is a beautiful old Yorkshire stone house in Mirfield, West Yorkshire. Family owned and a proper home-from-home Eastthorpe Hall is a peaceful oasis with traditional beamed ceiling, big squashy comfortable sofas, huge open fireplaces, candles, lovely furnishings and quite a few angelic decorations to create a heavenly atmosphere. ”"
“Keeps getting even better – the best visit yet.”We love this place, it’s a little tranquil haven and my daughter and I have been coming since they first opened many years ago. This was our best visit yet, a special offer half day package. The treatments were great including a hot real orange body scrub – utterly relaxing and smelling delicious. I had the best shoulder massage I’ve ever had in my life from the tiny but expertly amazing Katie. This girl in incredible. Friendly professional and the owner of magical hands. Lunch was delicious, generous and lots of choice, the best yet. We drifted away and with the help of a sleep inducing aromatherapy stick we each bought, had the best night’s sleep in years. Can’t wait to book again. Yes it’s a treat, yes it’s indulgent but it’s just fabulous for the body and the mind."
“Amazing treatments”Beautiful spa with great relaxing rooms in front of open fires, we just visited for treatments this time due to a discounted day. I had a 2 hour Facial and full body massage treatment it was amazingly relaxing and included a scalp massage whilst I had a mask on. My partner had full body exfoliation and massage for 90mims and we both thoroughly enjoyed the treatment. If you fancy treating yourself highly recommend a visit here."
“Birthday treat”Came here for a half day spa package with my sister-in-law. Started with an amazing lunch, the food is to die for. We then spent some time in the sauna, jacuzzi and pool, before being collected by our therapists for our treatment, a ‘gymnastic’ facial, which was so relaxing I’m sure I drifted off! Afternoon tea and cake was next, followed by 10 minutes in the Relaxation room before our final treatment of a hot paraffin wax hand treatment. A fabulous afternoon overall. The staff are lovely, the building, gardens and facilities all excellent. Can’t wait to go back."
“Amazing day – can’t wait to book the next one.””The food was amazing, honestly I was shocked at how good it was, the facilities and people were so lovely and friendly and the treatments were to die for. It was a fantastic day and I was really sad when it ended. I can’t wait to go back!!! I would recommended to everyone."
This place is heaven on earth!! The staff, the treatments, the pool area, the relaxation room, the atmosphere were all perfect! Honestly couldn’t ask for more. The food was 5 star as well! I’m gluten free & they made me special treats so I didn’t miss out on anything! I would definitely go back! They make you feel really special! Thank you to all the staff!
